Menus & Service

We do not have fixed menus, preferring to tailor each event to your individual tastes, so tell us what you'd like served at your function and if we don't have it we'll do out best to source it. As some dishes may be harder to source, while others are more dependent upon the season, it's best to get in touch with well in advance of your function (especially as our calendar fills up quite quickly).

As well as the standard barbecue meals, such as burgers, sausages, chicken wings, etc., we can provide a range of speciality meats as well as classic dishes served in a variety of styles, such as steak with blue cheese. We also stock a large range of speciality sausages.

We also provide vegetarian options and can barbeque side vegetables, such as onions, peppers, and corn on the cob. A range of sauces, condiments, and salads are also available.

Us & Our Partners

The Cambridge Barbecue Company is an established family business, run by a husband and wife partnership. We are covered by our own full public liability insurance and hold current food hygiene certificates.

We have strong relationships with other Cambridge businesses, sourcing local free range and organic pork from Andrew Northrop, a local and noted butcher. We also provide a hire service for marquees and gazebos and work in conjunction with M&T Marquees, who hire marquees, tables, chairs, and even chandeliers. We also run the Cambridge Hog Roast Company if you require something a little extra special for your event.

Get in touch with us for a free no-obligation quote for your function. We have a busy calendar, so the earlier you contact us the greater the likelihood of an available slot.

  • Cambourne
  • Ely
  • Great Shelford
  • Haverhill
  • Histon
  • Huntingdon
  • Newmarket

Terms & Requirements

A certain amount of setting up time is required before you wish your food to be served, so access to the site is required 2 hours in advance of serving time. Please note that we have to move some large machinery into place, so a clear route is always appreciated.

We need a small area of level ground on which to set up our equipment. We will provide tables and — depending on the weather — cover for the cooking and serving areas. We bring our own power supply if needed, but access to a supply of fresh water is appreciated.

The Cambridge Barbecue Company will provide you with a free quotation for catering your event. Upon acceptance of a quotation you will be asked to provide us with a £100 booking deposit. Please note that your booking is only secured upon our receipt of this deposit and that the deposit is non-refundable in the event of your cancellation.
